US passport photos are square: 2×2 inches (51×51 mm), with your head (chin to crown) measuring between 25 and 35 mm. The background must be plain white or off-white, and you must remove eyeglasses. If you're renewing online, the photo is uploaded digitally (600×600 to 1200×1200 px, JPEG). For paper applications, print two photos on photo-quality paper.
